"Lion and Lamb" Collectors

Interested in knowing how my series evolved? While studying the Book of Revelation my mind wandered. (Sorry Pastor…) Although people were collecting the Lion and Lamb, nowhere could I find this scripture. What I found was “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them." Isaiah 11:6 KJV But the Lion and Lamb combination is more symbolic and more familiar to most people and symbolizes the peaceful end times and God's promise of a peaceful Kingdom.

So, how could I bring The Peaceful Kingdom into the everyday art of our lives? Light Bulb! (...and a little child shall lead them) Why not make it childlike using stuffed animals to tell the story!

I found Little Lambie Pie and frumpy but adorable Lion. I set a table on my modeling stand, and placed them “just right.” Then for coziness and color added a baby quilt I had pieced, plugged in the spotlight...YES!!  As inspiration struck, eleven more stories were created.
