MB: "More evidence that God's Amazing Grace and
JIM'S GOSPEL MEMORIES
touched the hearts of men around the world -- including Africa!"
Read on...........................
Hi Mary, This is a reply to the thank you I sent (below) for
signing my guestbook. I am humbled.... Jim
Thank you very much for visiting my site
and taking
the time to sign my guestbook! Also, for the kind
words about the Gospel music "oldies". Being an
oldie myself the selection came naturally! I dearly
love those old songs with the beautiful melodies and
meaningful words.
Thanks again, and I hope you will visit again soon.
Sincerely,
Jim Stark

Hi Jim,
I think in a pretty short time, I feel like I've known
you for years that I feel to greet you like a long
days friend! In fact, I listen to your music everyday
since I discovered it; but signed the guest book only
yesterday. Even now I 'm listening to "the Old rugged
Cross" writing back to you. One of the wonders of the
internet is I know and listen to you thousands and
thousands miles away from your home in the heart of
Africa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, my home
country torn by years of wars and miseries. These
soothing melodies and other gospel songs (and of
course the Word of God) are our only hope and reason to
survive and not give up as we face death daily out
here. I think I want you to know, you never know
whatever you do for God climbs mountains, goes down
valleys, runs through meadows and jumps over jungles
and rocks and reach souls and heals and comforts and
strengghtens and revives people you will never see
(perhaps) in your life. But whatsoever it works! And
one day, the King Jesus will say to you Jim stark, I
was weak and desparate and you brought me a chime that
strengthened me and made me keep running! There you'll
stand wondering with blank eyes, but when did I do it
to you LOrd? You know the answer.
Much Love and
blessings from the heart of Africa, in the Democratic
republic of Congo.
Cornelius
PS. I didn't want my words in the guest book to be
viewed by others, but from now on you're free to let
brothers or sisters view them.
