Cox's Army is scattered now from Rainbow Inn to rainbow's end! But we are in close contact by phone, U.S. mail and amazing email. First brother is seriously ill with heart problems. God's Angel of Death recently visited his home, claiming his first son. So soon again we grieve together. But One Day, what a Day of Rejoicing that will be!

We Are Family (1991) and still growing...and spreading!

IF I COULD I WOULD...

Dedicate my first poem to

My First Friend, My Mom, who, a lifetime ago in the kitchen at Rainbow Inn, encouraged: Then pick up your pencil and do it!

My Little Sister, and my friend, who acquired Mother's gift of encouragement and caring!

The Big Seven wonderful goofy brothers! Don't let our family circle be broken...Daddy said so!

Last but never least, My Ken. "See how lucky you are I don't like change?"  "YOU are the lucky one, my man! I DO like change, so try to not annoy me too much!"  God knew my life would be a pallet of colors because of you! You were always there for us -- from Rainbow Inn to Heaven -- where now, you wait for us!

IF I COULD I WOULD

IF I COULD
I would
Paint your life Purple
Compliment it with Green
Fill it with Sparkle
The bright hues in between!

IF I COULD
I would
Find the perfect Rose one day
Bless it petal by petal
Scatter to you by Starlight
Along the Milky Way!

IF I COULD
I would
Flood your World with
Happiness,
Contentment,
Sprinkle with Moonbeams
Indescribably sweet
Place them gently,
Lovingly at your feet!

IF I COULD
I would
Charm you with Words to
Encourage,
Inspire,
Smooth out the rough spots
In your Pathway of Life
Prayerfully reduce your
Frustration and strife!

IF I COULD
I would
Dispense huge chunks of
Faith,
Love,
Wrap each with care
Like a Gift from Above
Tie up in fine linen
And though worlds apart
Place at the doorstep of
Your dear heart!
